This single or three phase power meter is simple to install and easy to configure via the display. The power meter can be connected to your SCADA via Modbus/RTU thereby giving you a better understanding of your energy use. Monitor your mains power supply, sub loads or individual equipment.
Monitoring power consumption will give you a clear indication of the energy and cost of running your compressed air system. This power meter measures voltage, amps, kilowatts, power factor, kilowatt hours, kilovolt amps and harmonics. It can be installed on mains supply or used for sub metering individual equipment or sub loads.
Installing power meters on compressors is not difficult but should be done by suitably qualified and experienced technicians. Some knowledge of MODBUS communications is required to connect the power meters to your network.
The unit comes with 3 Rogowski coils current transducers. Rogowski coils have a large flexible coil and are an excellent solution where a traditional current clamp is too difficult to fit. The coil is shielded against the influence of external magnetic fields and is suitable for high power load analysis. Coils can be fastened by cable ties for permanent installs.
